TPS7B7702-Q1: soft start time of this LDO

Hi Team,

I don't find one exact timing description of soft start about TPS7B7701/02-Q1.

It should have soft start function of this part, right, though it's fixed in the chip ?

Could you help double check the timing in design?

Hi Rocson,

This device has the soft start function built in. We have two plots showing the startup behaviors of the device. Please see Figure 16, 17.

Thanks for your reply.

I noticed this waveform plots without timing, and that's why I quite sure that there must be fixed timing soft start for this chip.

But customer would like to know about the exact timing setting during our IC design.

Hi Rocson,

The datasheet does not have a specification for the startup time. Figure 16 and 17 provide application curves for reference purposes. As the figures indicated 1V/us, we can estimate each division is 100us; the rising time for the Vout from 0% to 100% on both plots is around 200us.
