New project with wireless power supply

Hello Ennio,

Sounds like a very interesting project/redesign.  Since we are dealing with two distinctly different aspects of this design, one being wireless link to replace the wired cable, the other being power to the sensor device, I recommend we create two distinct E2E threads.  Let's keep this one as the wireless link issue, I'll split this to a new thread for the power aspect for the remote device.

Will that work for you?

At your service,

  • Hello Ennio,

From your original question: Then it is also necessary to evaluate how it is possible to give power supply to the sensors on the applicator. The working volume in both handpiece and applicator is quite low: 40mm x 20mm x 20mm inside the handpiece and 20mm x 20mm x 5mm on the applicator.

The first question here is if you are going to put a battery in the sensor for power, or are you looking for an external source, such as solar-cell or motion conversion?  We will also need to see what the sensor module consists of, if you can share a block diagram, or perhaps the schematic of what is now contained in the sensor module, that would be very helpful.
