BQ24165EVM-720: has an obsolete FET

Hi

In the BOM of BQ24165EVM-720 is included FET CSD25401Q3 which is Obsolete. Could you please tell me if CSD25402Q3A is the direct replacement and if it can be placed in this Evaluation Board without change in its performance?

    Hey Milton,

    So the bq24165 is only using that FET as a parallel BATFET essentially. I looked at the spec's of that FET and most look very similar, if anything improved over the previous generation.

    I believe the packages are very similar, if not the same based on what I saw. Same pinout and dimensions.

    So I believe its a good direct replacement.
