LM5050-1-Q1: LM5050Q! Current Draw for Vin and Vout

Part Number: LM5050-1-Q1

I'm trying to determine the quiescent current draw of LM5050Q1MKX-1/NOPB while Vs (pin 1) is held at 0V while Vin (pin 4) and Vout (pin 6) are present (10V to 16V). The datasheet only specifies the various pin currents when Vs is enabled (set at Vin).

Please provide the current draw for Vin (pin 4) and Vout (pin 6).

Hi David,

When Vs is 0V, internal bias is off and charge pump also should be off.

We expect the IN current to be lower than mentioned in datasheet and OUT current to be similar.

I will check on the EVM and get back soon.

Hi David,

With Vs pin shorted to GND, and power applied to VIN and VOUT, current drawn varies from 3uA to 10uA for 10 to 16V VIN.

Actually the current slowly varies after applying power and takes long time to settle.
