WEBENCH® Tools/TPS62133: Schematic is different than in the datasheet.

When I compare the schematic of webench with the one from the datasheet I see that FSW (selection of switching frequency) is wired different.

Datasheet: to GND --> 2,5MHz

Webench: to output voltage --> first 2,5MHz until voltage is present or not working at all?

What is the purpous that FSW is connected to the output voltage? Or is this a bug? See both schematics below.

Hi Thomas,

Did you already have a look at section 8.3.5 of the D/S, which discusses the FSW pin?

As well, the TPS62135/6 are newer devices which support higher currents, are smaller, and have better accuracy.

It does like I tought it would work.

So the avantages of the high frequency are a more stable output?

For any DC/DC, a higher switching frequency decreases efficiency but allows a smaller solution size and/or lower output ripple.
