BQ25504: Part replacement for C2(CSTOR), C3 , C5(Cref)

Hi,

Currently I am doing custom board and following accordingly as per recommended guide line in datasheet of BQ25504.

In BQ25504 evm data sheet, it is mentioned that C2(CSTOR), C3 , C5(Cref) cannot be substituted.

However, as for those components, I could not find exact component for C2,C3,C5 part number due to being obsolete.

Does it means, even if i replace with same rating component, it won't work?

Any suggestion about it?

Hello,
That designation in the User Guide was intended for the manufacturer of the EVMs for TI and not for customers. You can change the capacitors in your design as long as they meet the requirements stated in the datasheet and they have appropriate voltage ratings.
