Hi team,

In the first version, customer has faced some radiant EMI issue. So they change the PCB as below, mainly adding snubber and decreasing the loop of Vin Cap, Switching MOS and Diode. Any suggestion? Thanks.

    Hi Robin,

    The loop looks tight, which is good. One thing that i can see is that you are using Y version which is 2.1MHz, i think the inductor seems large for that frequency. Normally we use the 1 to 2.2uH, smaller inductor normally got smaller self resonance frequency which help on EMI and make sure you use shielded inductor, we normally use inductor that has none of the legs showing.
    Also keep the second layer a ground plane for shielding.

    How bad is the EMI fail?
