BQ24715: BQ24715 battery short protection

bq24715 has the battery short protection. LSFET OCP can do battery short protection very quick. And then, if the battery voltage is below the Vsys_min, the BATFET runs as LDO mode to clamp the charge current.

For battery short protection, if there is LDO mode, is it mean it is hard to trigger the LSFET OCP? Also for LDO mode, if the minimum voltage is high, will the PFET very hot?
Besieds, if it can trigger LSFET OCP, will it auto restart?

If LDO mode is enable, the 384mA current limit is much lower than LSFET OCP. You can say, it is hard to trigger the LSFET OCP if BATFET works in LDO mode.
If the minimum voltage is high, the PFET loss is higher for same pre-charge current. But, PFET selection and pre-charge current setting are decided by the customer.
