TPS54308: can be use as inverting buck_boost?

Dir Sirs,

My customer is looking for inverting buck-boost  for audio application: 

input  7~ 16Vin

output  - 8V 300mA (negative power supply for analog)

Compe: NJW4153 (40Vin 1A; fpWM)

I think Iout is too big for TPS5401.

I think TPS54140 is suitable, but higher const ( and not  fPWM).

I found TPS54308 ( 28Vin 3A current mode fPWM buck converter)  seems suitable,.

but  do you think TPS54308 can be used as inverting buck-boost like as slva542a?

( Please allow me I don't have EVM/PSpice now )
