TPS62135: Can I get the Altium project archive for the TPS62135EVM?

Hi,

From reviewing the EVM documentation for the TPS62135, it looks like it was built using Altium.

Can you please send me or post the Altium project?

Hi Bob,

This design was done in Altium. The gerbers are here on the EVM page: www.ti.com/.../tps62135evm-698 You can also generate Alitum outputs files from the Webench export function.

Are the raw Altium files still useful without the backend library database, etc.? Hopefully, the above links can get you what you need.

Hi Chris,

Altium has a concept of design reuse through snippets. If I have the project, then I have the option to reuse the EVM footprint and even the entire layout (e.g., reuse the polygons that were drawn around the part). I'm also curious to see if the designers of the EVM followed the datasheet's guidelines. Yes, I can get this from the Gerbers, but the Altium project is a lot easier to work with and grab / measure data.

It's always great to have an Altium project ( if available ) when evaluating an EVM.

Hi Bob,

It's the messages button on the top right. Looks kind of like a talking box. You should also be able to click on my name and start a conversation on the next screen.

The D/S layout recommendation image was taken exactly from the EVM, so they should match. You can find the actual copper layers in the EVM user's guide: www.ti.com/.../slvuai7a.pdf Let me know if anything doesn't match or seem right in the PCB design.
