TPS25940: Can TPS25940 detect over current for reverse current flows from OUT terminal to IN terminal?

 Hello guys,

 One of our customers is looking for a eFuse which can detect reverse overcurrent flowing from OUT terminal to IN terminal. Could you please tell me whether TPS25940 can detect the reverse overcurrent or not?

    Hi Kazuya Nakai,

    Can you please let us know the end equipment and the application use case?
    Yes, TPS25940 can detect reverse current from OUT to IN. The typical reverse current is reverse voltage /RON = 10mV/42mOhm = 238mA.
    When the reverse current exceeds 238mA (typ), the device turns OFF the internal FET.
