Hi,

Q1: I have installed bqStudio. When I opened it, under Gauge, it only showed bq40Z50.bqz or bq40Z50R1.bqz. There is no bq40Z50R2.bqz. My device is bq40Z50-R2. Which .bqz should I choose ?

Q2: I tried to install EV2300 driver on a Windows 7 PC. But wasn't able to. That was blocked by Kaspersky. Any suggestions how to overcome that ?

run the file downloaded from the link above. It will have the firmware for the bq40z50-r2 and it will also have the bqz file. Copy the file and place in the config folder of bqstudio on your computer.

C:\ti\BatteryManagementStudio\config

For the ev2300 issue, i suggest disabling kaspersky and then installing before enabling it again.

Thanks Onyx. I was able to get bq40Z50-R2 into the bqStudio, but still have problem with EV2300 driver. I tried to install the driver onto a laptop that has no Kaspersky. But got the error: E0000235 in UpdatDriverForPlugAndPlay Devices. Any suggestions ?
