LP5523: Run a pattern without I2C communication?

Hi Team,

My customer request LP5523 to run a pattern immediately when power on, but I2C can not work that fast.

Is it possible to run a pattern without I2C communication?

I think it is not possible. Because LP5523 default is disable, and needs I2C to active the chip and engine, am I right?

Any other suggestion for this requirement?

    Hi Daniel,

         Yes, you are right. But you can use the external circuit to turn on the LED before I2C communication.

     For example, charge pump out pin controls  the PMOS to turn on the LED with resistor in series. When I2C is ready,  PMOS off and LED can be controlled by LED driver.
