My customer would like to design powerbank based on BQ25895 and MCU.
Customer wants to feature simple gauging based on voltage monitoring.
Because MCU doesn't have enough ADC channel, BQ25895 battery monitoring feature will be used.
Output current is high and BQ25895 boost mode will be disabled during discharging.
Question is
If no load and no source, does BQ25895 go to sleep automatically? if correct, can BQ25895 monitor battery voltage and communicate through I2C during sleep? If not, can MCU wake up BQ25895 for battery voltage monitoring?
Because customer will be use external DCDC for discharging, BQ25895 is not in charging and discharging during powerbank is in discharging.
