Hi,

I would like to design a 12V to 24V boost converter but I can't seem to find a model that could produce what I wanted for results, below are the parameters that I would like to achieve.

Vin=12V

Vout=24V

P=960W

I=40A

I have look through the demo circuit and I found LTC3788-1 and LT3574 but both could not produce at 40A.

Are there any suggestions that I could produce the result that I wanted?

Any help and advice is much appreciated.

Your output power is very big, so the integrated boost regulator is not fit for the application. Suggest you use the TI part LM5122 or LM5122-Q1. They are just fit for your application.

Hi Chee,

Helen is correct, the LM5122 is probably the best IC for this application. Reference Design PMP7969 is a good starting point for this application.
