BQ27542-G1: Hibernate mode

Hi all,

Hibernate V default value is 2550mV, I want change to 4000mV or higher to let Gauge enter Hibernate mode. What's the risk or concern when Hibernate V set to high voltage?

Do not do that. The hibernate voltage is a voltage that if the battery voltage goes below it will put the device in hibernate mode which is essentially shutdown mode. If you want the gauge to enter hibernate, it is better to use the hibernate command. Do not set the hibernate voltage to 4000mV
