If you change the chem id, you need to perform a new learning cycle. If you change your battery, you need to perform a new learning cycle as well.

Can i perform learning cycle on gauge after 0x21 and max error -1% from previous chemistry ? or i should start from the beginning of learning cycle ( when the gauge is blank) ?

Hi Alex,
You need to program the default srec( this will set the gauge back to default settings.), then program the chem new chem id, confiugure the data flash and start learning. So essentially starting again from scratch.

1. The contribution of chemistry ID to gauge algorithm is only OCV(DOD%)  or it has more other tasks ?

2.  Is it possible vary OCV(DOD%) table manually on bq20z655-r1 ?
