is TPS82150 available in DIL package?

There are no other package options for this IC, though we have many other discrete and module offerings here at TI. What Vin, Vout, and Iout do you need?

I need a chip which will convert 7.5v dc to 5v dc non-isolated at 100mA but it must have pins which will plug into a breadboard or solder into veroboard

I don't believe we have modules that are through-hole like this. It is very old technology.

For your low current, an LDO might be best. Is this acceptable?

If you are able to accept an LDO for your application, TPS72 may be a good fit for your application. The "P" package is a through hole package that can plug into a breadboard.
