    LM5145 has comprehensive over current protection.  It has valley detect pulse by pulse protection, Over Current Protection duty cycle limiting to reduce on time during faults and hiccup mode over current protection with restart.  There is quite a bit of detail on these operations in the datasheet.  See sections 8.3.10 and 8.3.11.
