Hello,
I've rewritten TPS4H000B-Q1's False Table (Table 2 on page 20 of the data sheet) from the viewpoint of MCU programmer based on the data sheet description. Precisely speaking, my table is meant to indicate which device status implies which fault condition. I'd like it to be confirmed in addition to a couple of questions. I omit OUTx from the table because I guess OUTx voltages are not always monitored in some applications.
IN | /FAULT | VCS | Fault Conditions |
H | L | VCS(H) | Current limit / short-to-GND / thermal |
H | ≅ 0 | Open load / short-to-battery | |
> 0 | Normal | ||
L | L | - | Open load / short-to-battery |
H | - | Normal |
Questions
- Please review this table to see if it's correct.
- Which status can the device be in when the MCU detects /FAULT = Low and VCS ≠ VCS(H) with IN = High?
Best regards,
