TPS62160: TPS62160 - Internal resistor values.

My customer are requesting to know the internal resistor values of the TPS62160: he needs this to help with calculation of the pole and zero, and cff

 

Would it be possible to find out what the values for R1 and R2 are for the fixed version TPS62160 (they seem to be internal to the device)?

Also by looking at the block diagram I can’t see how an external capacitor would affect the TPS62160 because it seems the FB pin is connected to ground via a resistor and therefore has no influence on the error amplifier.

I'd pointed already to the http://www.ti.com/lit/an/slva466a/slva466a.pdf, app notes but this has not been helpful.

    Hi Linda,

    Yes, that app note is a good find and should explain that the Cff does not usually affect the control loop since the BW is too high.

    Only the TPS62161/2/3 have the internal resistors on the (internal) FB pin. The TPS62160 uses external resistors and the internal Cff.
