MC34063A: SEPIC (buck/boost) mode

Hi;

In the description provided in the TI site, MC34063A can be used for SEPIC (buck/Boost) circuits.

I'm designing a circuit in which the input voltage can vary between 3-10 volts and the output should be 5 volts.

So I wonder if I can use MC34063A for this purpose.

MC34063A can be used for SEPIC (buck/Boost) circuits. You need to check the peak current limit, if it is greater than 1.5A, you need external switch.

1.5 amp is ok for me but I couldn't find any circuit or example for sepic mode.

You can take PMP7155 Sepic 6V@1.5A as a reference. it a TI reference design.
