TPS43000: TPS43000 Shutdown current

Part Number: TPS43000
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ29209

Hello everybody,

we use the TPS43000 as buck/boost regulator and we're having trouble with the shutdown current.

VIN and VOUT is connected to +5V (which is generated by an LDO/250mA) while VP is connected to a LiIon battery with 8,4V.

In Standby Mode of our product the TPS43000 should be shut down (Syn/SD Pin is high, >= 4,5V), but I measure around 600µA at VP. If I connect VIN/VOUT to VP (battery) it goes down to the shutdown current mentioned in the datasheet.

In addition I measure around 70µA at the FB pin 8 which I can't explain either.

Thanks in advance

Raphael
