I would like to know why TPS40054 NRND ?

It can be instead of TPS40055 or TPS40057 ? which one is better ?

What's defferent ? in TPS40054, TPS40055, TPS40057 ???

Since TPS40054 only sources current, it is possible that the loop is not stable at DCM. TPS40057 architecture allows the output to source or sink current as required to keep the output voltage in regulation.
Please use TPS40057 for the new application .
