TPS61169: Loss of the device itself

Hi,

I'm thinking of using TPS61169's device.
I am checking the loss of the circuit and I want to ask you one question.

Efficiency is shown in the data sheet as follows.
Can you tell me the loss of the TPS61169 device itself?
Since the device of TPS61169 has no WEBENCH, it can not calculate the loss of the device itself.

Hi Kaji,
We don't have the loss data about the device itself. But you could calculate as quiescent current times Vin. Please note that this doesn't include MOSFET switching and Rds power loss, which could be considered as Boost convertor loss.

I will calculate the internal FET loss(DC) with POWER STAGE DESIGNER.

Then, the loss of the device itself is almost the loss of the internal FET?
Or is it necessary to consider the loss of logic circuit and gate driver?

Hi Kaji,
Yes, Loss of internal FET takes the most. The loss of logic circuit and gate driver is considered in Iq * Vin.
