TPS61170-Q1: put ceramic capacitor at SW pin

Hi Team,

My customer wants to put 680pF ceramic capacitor between SW pin and GND.
He said it is effective to reduce EMI noise for his current system.
So, I would like to ask if there is recommended capacitor range at SW pin.

note) I suggested to put the ceramic capacitor at output however I heard it wasn't effective for EMI that they refered.

What is the Vin, Vo, Io in their applicaiton? Generally we add a R and C at SW pin to reduce the SW spike instead of just a C at the SW pin.

Suggest them use a 1ohm/680pF-1nF RC snubber in their design. But only add a 680pF capacitor is also OK if it truely solve the EMI problem.
