Hi, team.

My customer have some question about TPS563210A.

So, please tell me about this product.

＜Question＞

①In the equation (1) of the data sheet P11 of TPS563210A, is the unit required for calculation correct as follows?

CSS:pF

ISS:uA

※According to this, we believe that Tss = 0.9 ms when Css = 8200 pF.

②Which does Tss (ms) indicate the time of "① or ②" of the following waveform?

　If Tss = ②, please tell me the approximate time of ①.

③Which is PG pin "OPEN (FET-OFF)" or "0V (FET-ON)", if Vin = 12V and EN = 0V ?

※In the waveform of data sheet P16(Fig.17) of TPS563210A, since PG is pulled up by Vout , the state at EN = 0V is not understood.

Hello Sekiguchi,

1, Yes, the unit is right.

2, please upload your waveform.

3, PG pin is 0V, when Vin=12V, and EN=0V. PG threshold is 90% FB voltage.

in figure 28, PG test Vout voltage not PGOOD. It test wrong place.

TPS563210 is NRND part. I suggest you use TPS563201.

Tss means the time is from 10% to 90% of FB voltage. that is your 2 time.

I thought that PG will be 0 V after EN (or Vin) turns on until Vout = 95%, but it seems that it follows Vout in "Datasheet Figure 28 and Figure 29".
Q１：Is PG pin "OPEN(not 0V)" ?

Also, until the EVM of TPS563210A arrives, we plan to make a preliminary evaluation of PG with EVM of TPS562210.
※I also understand that there is a problem and it is NRND.
Q２：Is there anything different about PG movement like the above interaction?
Q３：Also, are there any conditions that can not be evaluated at room temperature environment(trouble comes out)?
