TL494: oscillator frequency

Hi Team,

The datasheet shows oscillator frequency is 10kHz (typ) with RT=12kHz, CT=0.01uF, however I believe RT=10kHz is the correct because of equation(3) in page 11.
Is my understanding correct?

Thank you for your interest in TL494. Yes, the equation for frequency does not appear to agree with 12kΩ value. I'm talking with the design team and hope to get confirmation on the correct value soon.

Hi K.Yaita,

Please use the equation 1.2/(Rt*Ct) to set the oscillator frequency. This will align with the frequency vs Rt and Ct values shown in figure 1 of the datasheet. I will request the datasheet equation for frequency be updated.
