Hi, Team

My customer have questions about TPS51206.

There is not description about overcurrent protection function in datasheet.
But,There is mention of "current limit "value.(= Sink / Source 2A)


Does it have the overcurrent protection function in this device?

How does the overcurrent protection function of this device work?
Is it constant current ? or Latch?

    Hello, 

    TPS51206 has overcurrent protection. 

    When sink/source current is higher than 2A, the OC may happens and the current is limited. 

    The OC protection function is like constant current. When OC condition is removed, the part will recovery.
