What Data Flash parameters determine how the FC bit gets set in the FLAGS register in a NiMH system during IT ENABLE?

Hi Kevin,

It depends on how FC Set% is configured. Please refer to the datasheet pg. 16 & 37 for more details.

FC: Full charge is detected. FC is set when charge termination is reached and FC Set% = –1
(see Charging and Charge Termination Indication for details) or StateOfCharge() is larger
than FC Set% and FC Set% is not –1. True when set.

I have FC Set at -1

After a full charge, SOC remains at 0% and FC = false

Also, does Cell_Charge_Voltage_T2-T3 * Number_of_Cells = Charge_Voltage? Is Charge_Voltage the termination voltage?

I have a small, 2 NiMH cell setup

Hi Kevin,
In addition, the device uses -dV or dT/dt for NimH for charge termination. Pls see the data sheet for further details. You need to set the NiDV and NiDt flags. pls review that section of the data sheet.
