Hi all

Would you mind if we ask LM317?

How much is the IGND?
We would like to know LM317's consumption current.

We could not find it on the data sheet.

    Hi Hirotaka,

    This regulator has no ground pin. It only has Input, Adj and Output.

    Current into input pin  = Current out from Adj + Current out from Output pin

    As the minimum load for this regulator is 10mA, and the Adj terminal has a current specification as well.

    You will know that the current sourcing into input pin = 10mA (with minimum load on the output) + Adj (current on terminal Adj, max 100uA)
