LM2576HVSX-12

We use LM2576HVSX-12/NOPB in dc power supply circuit  and VinMin = 40.0V ,VinMax = 60.0V ,Vout = 12.0V, Iout = 2.0A Input is from batter 48V 100Ah LM2576HVSX-12/NOPB will work for 4 or 5 days  after (LM2576HVSX-12/NOPB)  will burnt out  we tested  5 times  pls tell how to come out with this problem

  • Please provide more information regarding your issue. Is every part you tried burnt after 4-5 days? How many were tested? Would you share your schematic and layout pdf for review? Please check the thermal design of the PCB. Is the operation monitored? Is the operation stable?

    Thanks,

  • we need to supply 12V dc and current is 2 amp and input dc voltage is 40 to 100 v dc  ?

and we are using UCC288800 This is working fine

we think LM2576HVSX-12 Can work  upto 60V input  but sum time input voltage will go more then 60V  pls advice which is the best for supply 12V dc and current is 2 amp and input dc voltage is 40 to 100 v dc

  • The LM2576HVSX-12 input voltage abs max is 63V. If input voltage seen by the part is higher than 63V, it is likely to be damaged. If high voltage is seen repetitively on the pin, it is more and more likely to be damaged over time.

Please do not use this part with input voltage higher than 60V.
