Can somebody explain in detail the difference between the constant-current and the constant-power model?
My devices has a current variation between 1mA and 250mA, in different states. I'm using the Load Select Value 3 ( average over 14s). So during the 14s, the current is almost constant (250mA), but if the device goes into the sleep mode, it will consume only around 1mA.
What do you think, can I still use the constant current model or is the constant-power model more precise for this application?
