I would like verification of the expected TS temperature threshold accuracy under nominal conditions. .
When I calculate the needed resistance for the stated thresholds in the Electrical Tables (page 8) assuming the TS current source is 50 uA, the resistance is not tightly aligned to the resistance table of the recommended thermistors in the data sheet (beta = 3370).
For example, the 60 degC hot temp threshold is 178 mV when going hot. With a 50 uA source, thermistor needs to be 3.56k. SEMITEC 103AT-2 resistance is 3.02k at 60 degC. Mitsubishi thermistor is 3.06k. They are both closer to 3.56k at 55 degC.
If the current and thresholds are accurate, the resistance difference results in errors of about 5 degC from the target JEITA thresholds. This is without accounting for tolerances of the thresholds, current source and thermistor. Does this seem correct?
