TPS65910 availability

Does anyone know when this part will be sampling/shippping? I don't have much experience with TI parts in preview. Is this usually a lengthy process? The website recommends using preview parts in new designs, but it would be somewhat annoying if my prototypes were ready and the chip was not.

A little off topic, but maybe somebody knows if AM37X will be available in CUS package.

Yes, the AM37xx devices will be provided in the CUS package option. The datasheet (page 2) mentions this as well as other collateral on the AM3715 Product Folder.

TPS65910 will be RTPing in the next 2-3 weeks.

Are you planning to use this with the AM37 part? If you have prototypes ready then we can arrange for samples. If your prototypes will be ready in the next 2-3 weeks then you can order samples online or via distributors (guess that option is possible).

I am planning on using this with the AM/DM37x. The other PMIC chips are nice, but the .4mm bga kind of negates the usefulness of the CUS package. 2 -3 weeks is about the right time frame. It is good to know that parts will be available.

I'm not sure TPS65951 is public yet? Can you elaborate a little more on this device? When will it i.e. be public?

Gandhar,

Our prototype PCB is being manufactured now. However, the TPS65910 is not available in any way yet. I do not have a TI rep right now. Who can I contact to get samples of this part?
