BQ27742-G1: VPWR&BAT pin PCB and schematic design

Hi all,

My PCB area is not enough to follow TI VPWR and BAT pin design that separate them by two trace with RC filter(Picture A). If I want to connect them together by minimum trace(Picture B), what risk will happen?

Hi Che,

You risk gauge noise from operation of processor and other internal circuits coupling in to your the ADC BAT voltage measurement.

I found them connected together at BQ27750 EVM, could you help me to check it what's different between BQ27750 and BQ27742-G1?
