UCC2895: ON23x11 OPTOCOUPLER, SLUM188

Part Number: UCC2895
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5046

HELLO,

what is the exact part no of the model being used (ON23x11)?

i tried observing the behavior of the this model by test circuit and results attached for different values of R3. I Observed different CTR .

For R3=1k  CTR=0.6

      R3=2K CTR=0.859

      R3=3K CTR=0.849

      R3=4K CTR=0.83

      R3=5K CTR=0.81

SO is that CTR Is function of diode current?

any other model of OPTOCOUPLER / PHOTO-TRANSISTOR  is available? and exact part no the device?

thanks,

samrat

      R3=6K CTR=0.79

  • Hi Samrat,

    Thanks for your interest in UCC2895. CTR is dependent on the forward current in the LED. Here is an example CTR vs forward current normalized to If = 5mA.

    I would suggest taking a look at the TINA model for LM5046. The model includes a symbol for PS2501 optocoupler.

    Best Regards,

    Ben Lough
