Hi

My customer has question.


Can you get answers about the following contents?
* It does not matter if content can not be answered when confirmation is difficult.

1.Although the transition threshold of PFM⇒PWM is described as 8 mA (typ), is there a min / max value?

2.When load is increased from 0 mA, PFM ⇒ PWM transits in the vicinity of 8 mA.
　When load is reduced from 20 mA, PWM ⇒ PFM transits around 3 mA.
　Is it correct that the transition point is different?

    Owing to process tolerance, there 8mA threshold may be slightly higher or lower. Unfortunately I don't have the exact number for the min and max. Regarding your 2nd question, it is because of the hysteresis of the threshold. This prevents the circuit from frequently entering and coming out of the PFM mode when the load is just at the boarderline.
