Hi Dick,

Typically, we recommend customers use the AUX pins to read the voltage from an NTC thermistor. The ADC measures the AUX pins in the same manner as the cell voltages - the CHANNELS register must be configured to read the AUX pins then the data can be gotten using the COMMAND register, just like cell voltages

Hi David,
There is only 8 AUX inputs for temperature while there are 16 cell the chip can monitor. So the data read is not for each cell, right?

Hi Dick,

Correct. The pl455 can support at most 8 thermistor readings per chip. I have commonly seen only two thermistors per module, although I also see as many as two cells per thermistor. It really depends on who is making the system.
