LP3925: Combining of 2 or more LDO outputs on PCB

Hi,

I am planning to use LP3925 in my design. I have a couple of power supply load requirement which is more that what 1 LDO can support. Hence I am planning to combine 2 or more LDO outputs on PCB to cater for required load requirement.

Can I combine multiple LDO outputs together as I am planning?

What precautions should I take other than configuring for same output voltage levels?

Hi Kiran,

To add to Murthy's post, we generally don't recommend paralleling voltage regulators which are not designed for that. There are some articles that discuss possible implementations (www.ti.com/.../tidub16a.pdf for example) but no validation on the LP3925 has been done with such a configuration.
