Hi,

Questions about the setting of Qmax Cell1 - Qmax Cell14 and Qmax Pack in Gas Gauging.When we configured the 6P battery, we changed

the default value of 4400 mAh to 2600mAh * 6 = 15600mAh (the battery capacity is 2600mAh), and the Bq40z50 will be restarted continuously.

    Hi Jason,
    Qmax of 15600 is within the range allowed in 14.13.8.1 of the technical reference manual. Be sure all values are set appropriately, an imbalance can cause a permanent fail. Also can you describe "restarted continuously"? Typically parameter change will not cause power cycling. Check for loose connections. If the cycling is slow, send the configuration file and log. If the cycling is fast, check with an oscilloscope. If the missing power signal can not be identified post the signals you believe to be incorrect.

    Hi Jason,
    This may be an issue where the gauge watchdog is getting tripped and it is constantly resetting.
    If you have the latest version of bqStudio, in the data Flash section, there should be a parameter under "Gas Gauging -> IT Cfg" called "Max Simulation Iterations". Please change this value from its default of 50 to 30, and let us know if this resolves the issue.
