When using LMZ31710 in parallel operation, is it necessary to connect the PWRGD signals?

Hi Hirotsugu Kobayashi,

THe PWRGD can be left floating if there is no need for power good features. Since PWRGD is an open drain output, if the power good feature is required, a 10k pull up resistor is necessary.

Hi, Jimmy,

I used PWRGD feature in Parallel Opetating.
My question is whether it's necessary to connect PWRGD of Master and Slave in parallel operation.

Though a sense terminal opens, is PWRGD on the SLAVE side effective?
Is it no problem only in PWRGD on the Master side is used?

Hi Hirotsugu Kobayashi,

The PWRGD does not have to be connected to both Master and Slave in parallel operation. You would only need to connect the resistor to the Master's PWRGD.
