BQ4050EVM-561: Requesting CAD Files, BOM, Schematic, Layout, Gerber Files

So would TIDA-00883 replace both the BQ4050EVM-561 and the BQ24773EVM-540?

Hi Shawn,
The TIDA-00883 will have the board files for the PWR561 PCB which the bq4050EVM is built on. The revision of the board could be different. The test results in the TIDA will be for the different gauge, and the methodology described for setting up the gauge may vary due to the difference.
The bq24773EVM will be on a different board. I don't immediately see a TI Design referenced for that part. You might post a question specific to that device if you are interested in what may be available.

OK, then I think I can move forward with TIDA-00883 as a replacement for BQ4050EVM-561, assuming the firmware is compatible?

Hi Shawn,
The TIDA-00883 is essentially the bq40z50EVM-561, the bq4050EVM-561 has a similar function and shares the board. The firmware and algorithm used are different. Much of the circuit is compatible between the 2 devices, so you should be able to move forward with whichever device you choose.

And the software for configuring and flashing is similar as well?
