BQ34Z100-G1: Failed in charging learning cycle

Part Number: BQ34Z100-G1

Hi, I'm using BQ34Z100-G1 with Battery ICR18650-30B spec:

1. Nominal voltage : 3.78V

2. 4-cells

3. cell capacity : 2950mAh

The gas gauge settings are:

1. Design Cap=7080 (60% of battery capacity)

2. CC Threshold=6372 (90% of Design Cap)

3. Design Energy=2620

4. Energy Scale=10

But, it doesn't update the learning status to 5 after fully charged (charging current is about 500mA).

    Do you have a log of the learning cycle? How much relaxation you allowed before charging (after discharging) and at the end of charging? Do you have 4 cells in series? The recommended charging rate is C/2, but based on your capacity 2950mAh and charge current of 500mA that's a C/6 rate. the time between OCV measurements at the end of discharge and at the end of charge is too long, which would prevent Qmax from updating to learning status 5.

    Before charging, the battery is relaxed for more than 2 hours after discharging. And after charging, the battery is relaxed for more than 2 days.

    The cells are connected in parallel.
