Hi,

I have seen the PMIC TPS65218 suggested with AM4379.We have noticed processor with internal short,please help me how we can turn of PMIC as soon as there is some problem in PMIC input high voltage or current , imean any spikes, which will protect processor.

    The TPS65218 has the ability to provide both overcurrent and overvoltage protection on all of its outputs to minimize risk to the processor. Overcurrent is enabled by default; overvoltage can be enabled by setting the STRICT bit in the CONFIG1 register to '1'.
