Can a Lion Battery be charged using Battery Management - Monitors, Protectors, Authentication IC's(BQ76pl455A,BQ76PL455A-Q1,BQ76940) alone(without using Battery Charger IC)

if not kindly suggest Battery Charger IC's with fast charging feature compatible with above battery management IC for 48V Lion Battery Pack

    Hi Siva,

    For a large battery pack there is typically a discrete charging circuit used. You may be better off checking with the charger forums for a suitable charger if we have one.

    The pl455 is for over/undervoltage monitoring , over/under temperature monitoring, and cell balancing
