TPS53355: Output Layout Design for 28A current output

Hi,

I am using TPS53355 to generate 28A, 1V output in one of custom designs.

Post layout power integrity analysis is failing between regulator output and the inductor, due to high current density and high via current.

For fixing this issue, I would like to understand how to place vias and shapes for that power net.

So please share the board file ( preferably in .brd format) of any of the EVBs which are designed and tested for more than 28A current.

I could find one EVB: TPS53355EVM-743, designed for 30A, but I could not find its board file.

I can get you the layout files later today. It looks like the file will be in Mentor PADS format. Alternately I can get you the gerber files, which you should be able to import. Let me know which you prefer. I would like to send them to you directly. Can you post your email?
