BQ25505: About case of No VIN_DC

A have a question.

I designed using Li-Ion second battery.

When No Vin_DC(Solar) and only second battery, VSTOR is no output.

Is this right operation?

When Vin_DC(solar) is inserted, VSTOR is OK.

Please let me know and help me.

Can you discharge VSTOR before connecting the battery on the VBAT_SEC terminal?

The device will need to have VSTOR discharged when no VIN is connected to charge VSTOR. Alternatively you can also connect the VIN_DC.

I have more questions.

1. When VSTOR is discharged to GND,

if only Second Battery connected to VBAT_SEC, is VSTOR output comes out at second battery level?

SS,

The VSTOR will be charged with VBAT_SEC but not from the primary cell. Refer to Fig 15 on the datasheet.
