BQ40Z50: Max current consumption in sleep mode

Part Number: BQ40Z50

Dear Team,

do we have max values for the current consumption during sleep mode of the bq40z50?

Datasheet specifies typ values, but no max.

Thanks and best regards,

B

  • Hi Basil,

Current consumption values during sleep mode of the bq40z50 may vary based upon layout and other circuit considerations.

As noted, with TA = 25 degC and VCC = 14.4 V, typical sleep mode is 75 uA with CHG off, DSG on, no SBS communication, and 52 uA with CHG off, DSG off and no SBS communication.

An empirical approach may be best for determining specific VCC and temperature operating ranges for your device.

    Sincerely,
    Bryan Kahler
