LM5009: LM5009 / Behavior at RCL left open

Hi,

Now the customer is considering to use LM5009 and estimating the behavior at RCL left open due to soldering failure. I understand that RCL set the length of off-time, then how does LM5009 behave under over load condition with RCL left open?

Hi Satoshi-san,

See Figure 3 of the LM5009 datsaheet where the off-time during a current limit event is plotted vs Vout for various values of RCL (including 500k). Equation 5 is also relevant.
